blues singer and TV personality Johnny Silvo for the Mayoress’

“Sir Gadabout” in the 2002 Embsay Players production of “King

MC’d the Skipton Christmas Lights Switch On Show 2002 (This event
attracted the biggest ever crowd - over 2000 - and featured more
than 70 performers in the line-up) |

Produced a Variety Show
titled “An Evening of Music, Dance and Magic” for the Skipton
Branch of Alzheimer’s Society in July 2003. (I also made a guest
appearance singing several songs accompanied by Lucy and Emily Yates
and the 10th Skipton Brownies.) |

Promoted the town on
behalf of the Skipton Chamber of Trade by manning a trade stand as
“Mr Personality” at 20 Agricultural Shows and similar events in
the spring and summer of 2003. |

Opened Denholme and
Bradley Galas on behalf of Skipton Chamber of Trade. |

Appeared as a journalist
in the box-office-hit film “Calendar
Girls.” |

May 2004 Appeared on Yorkshire TV's "That's Your Lot
" - an antiques quiz programme featuring amateurs taking on
celebrities (in this case Mollie Sugden among others) and hosted by
Richard Whiteley. I won!

Sept 2004 Published A Skipton Anthology - a full-length book made
up of three previous books featuring the dark side of Skipton's
past. (See 'books' page)

Sept 2004 - Nov 2004 Undertook a 13 date stand up tour of North and
West Yorkshire called "Confessions" - (it bombed!).

Oct 2004 Masterminded the second HALLOWEEN HELL walks with more
spooks, vampires - and introducing Mongo - the serial killer!

2004/5 Opened a number of summer/winter fairs and galas.

Dec 2004 Created the first (and only!) Netherside Hall Ghost Night
(as a spin off from Halloween Hell) at a huge mansion in private grounds near Grassington,
North Yorks. (500 people turned up and swamped it, making it impossible to
control.)

May 2005 Created a new persona - Sir Cole Champers-Ravers, a WW2
'cad' who was booked to appear over 3 days at Netherside Hall WW2
celebrations and Harrogate Grammar School WW2 celebrations. (He has
since become well known on the 1940's re-enactment scene and sports
a dainty soft-shoe shuffle!)

May 2005 Published Keighley's Darkest Secrets - a full-length book
featuring the dark side of Keighley's violent past. Launched at
Keighley Festival 2005. (See 'books' page)

June 2005 Starred at Keighley Festival 2005, where the book
Keighley's Darkest Secrets was launched, while a specially created
Keighley's Darkest Secrets Ghost Walk took place over 7 nights.

James Martin at the 2 day FEAST Food Festival at Skipton Castle.

Nov 2005 Created and undertook a series of Settle Ghost Walks on
behalf of the Chamber of Trade at the Settle Christmas Lights Switch
On Ceremony - hopefully to continue in the summer of 2006 for
tourists.

Walk book, distributed on the islands of Malta, Gozo and Comino. (see 'books' page)

the "Undertaker" - a real live walking talking graveyard
cadaver!

2006. Returned to Malta to carry out Valletta ghost walks as the
island's only professional ghost walker.
